Just
like our tobacco, NASCAR was born in the South where
family and traditions run deep. As a young man, Mac
Bailey spent hours and hours of his free time souping
up old cars and running the back roads of southside
Virginia. Mac and his father Frank spent many Saturdays
working in the tobacco field during the day just waiting
for the late model stock races
on Saturday nights in South Boston, Virginia.
And like NASCAR, Bailey's is proud
of its traditions. For five generations, the Bailey family
has worked the rich Virginia soil to grow some of the
world's finest tobacco. Then 10 years ago, Mac Bailey
and his son Steven decided to make their American dream
come true by manufacturing a Quality American Cigarette
for an Honest Price that was worthy of their family's
name and heritage.
Like our cigarettes, Bailey’s Racing just keeps growing and growing. The Bailey’s Late Model Stock race team features Frank Deiny, Jr., Drew Herring, David Triplett Jr. and carrying on the family racing tradition, Jonathan Bailey. In 2004, Bailey’s became the title sponsor for the Bailey’s 300 at Martinsville Speedway, the most prestigious race with the biggest purse in Late Model Stocks. |
